There are 7 million people in the United Kingdom who are deaf to some degree and deafPLUS strives towards ensuring that the needs of each and every one of those persons are met. deafPLUS are a registered medium-sized charity and company limited by guarantee working to encourage integration and equality between deaf and hearing people in all areas of life.

We are also known as Breakthrough Deaf - Hearing Integration and were first established in 1970, so our 40th year is approaching!
