Fundraise

We are a fundraising organisation who relies on support from individuals, in addition to trusts, councils and corporate donors to deliver our vital work for the D/deaf community.

Why don’t you fundraise for deafPLUS and help make the world a more inclusive place for people with hearing loss?

Did you know that you can secure company donations for deafPLUS when you do your online shopping and it will not cost YOU a single penny more?

Its true! When you shop online using Amazon Smile or Give As You Live for food, books, clothes, holidays, insurance... in fact, pretty much anything…. every single product or service that you buy can generate a donation for deafPLUS.

Amazon Smile

How to fundraise for deafPLUS with Amazon Smile?

  1. Go to Amazon Smile
  2. Sign in or create an account
  3. Type in "deafPLUS" as your charity.
  4. “Supporting deafPLUS” should then appear on your Amazon page.

Do you use Amazon already?

Great! Please start using Amazon Smile instead. You can access all the same products at the same prices as you do with the regular Amazon, but up to 5% of the amount you spend on purchases is gifted to your named charity (select deafPLUS when prompted to do so) - it is really easy!

Please note: For iPhone/iPad users, it will not work in the app. Instead, you can go to Safari and type in “Amazon Smile” or click here, then type in your email address and password. “Amazon Smile” will appear, and you are ready to start shopping.

Payroll Giving

What is it?
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice.

Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you’re a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.

Payroll Giving (also known as Give As You Earn or workplace giving) is a valuable, long term source of revenue, providing regular income to help charities budget and plan ahead more effectively. Employees can choose to support any charity of their choice with a regular donation direct from their pay.

Its cheaper because its tax free – for example, a donation of £5 per month costs the basic rate tax payer £4.00 (the taxman pays the rest!)

Higher rate taxpayers- the only way to pass on your 40% or 45% tax to charities. Only 28% can be recouped via other ways of giving.

deafPLUS have signed up to the scheme and we would be delighted with your support. Click here to give through your pay check
