deafPLUS is a registered medium-sized charity and company limited by guarantee working to encourage integration and equality between D/deaf and hearing people in all areas of life. We provide a range of services from Advocacy to Employment, equipment to information and advice across 6 centres around the UK.
The ‘Living with a Hearing Loss’ project is designed to support older people to manage the difficulties experienced by losing their hearing. This is achieved by providing access to appropriate information, skills and services in an empathic learning environment. The Project Administrator will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver a marketing campaign to recruit participants to the Living with a Hearing Loss courses.
We are seeking an individual with great organisational and interpersonal skills to take on this exciting role to manage and deliver the following services to clients. The main duties include:
- To work with the Project Administrator to source and book venues for upcoming courses.
- To develop strategy and run the marketing and promotional campaigns for the recruitment of participants to our LWHL courses.
- To network with appropriate organisations to promote LWHL course awareness.
- Collate appropriate reports for the Project Administrator.
Working hours: 15 hours per week until 31st August 2019
Location: Bromley – Office based
Salary: £20,625.28 (inclusive of London Weighting) pro-rata
