Information, Advice & Guidance Officer – Croydon
Part-time 16 hours – £25,433.87 – £28,674.04 (pro rata) depending on experience (Scale 526-530)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join deafPLUS to become our information and Advice officer in Croydon.
From April 1st we are launching a new service based in Access Croydon. This role will support d/Deaf people from Croydon, providing accessible information and Advice on welfare benefits and all aspects of social welfare law and signposting, support service users to access their rights and welfare benefit entitlements.
deafPLUS is a registered medium-sized charity and company limited by guarantee working to encourage integration and equality between deaf and hearing people in all areas of life. We provide a range of services from Advocacy to Employment, equipment to information and advice across 7 centers around the UK.
- Part-Time role: 16 hours per week over three days.
o Monday: 10:00 – 13:00 & 13:30 – 16:00
o Wednesday: 10:00 – 13:00 & 13:30 – 16:00
o Friday: 10:00 – 13:00 & 13:30 – 15:30
- 25 days Annual Leave & 8 day Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
